MISSIONAL PRAYER. The first step is parishes realising that the Spirit is at work ahead of them. This means aligning ourselves with God’s plan in prayer. Co-creating means starting first with prayer.

FORM & CAST VISION. The second step is to open our eyes and see a new horizon – a new vision for what is possible. Parishes are rediscovering a passion for their mission and together with God they are forming a new, different picture of the future.

REST. The final step: God is the author of all this – which means we can rest, take sabbath. Rest is a sign of authentic renewal.

(Re)Plant Evangelization Initiative. Parishes are preaching the Gospel to those who do not know Jesus and it is taking root and bearing fruit in their hearts.

CREATE A LEADERSHIP TEAM. Parishes are seeing that, in this apostolic age, new ways of leading are needed. A priest cannot do this alone. He needs other around him to co-lead, to navigate the new context, to disciple, pastor and lead all those coming to faith. These are the “lights that govern the day and the night.”

ENHANCE THE SUNDAY EXPERIENCE. As more people come to the parish, the parish reimagines what Sunday means: it is the weekly gathering moment of all the new disciples who are coming to faith – and so parishes are intentional about shaping a Sunday experience that touches hearts.

BECOME THE LEADER YOU ARE. As we embark on this adventure, we discover that the first person God wants to renew is ourselves. The first person we need to lead is ourselves. Our own personal journey of inner renewal and self-leadership happens within the parish’s renewal.
